Code Club is a network of free, volunteer-led, computing clubs for 9-11 year olds. We are part of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, a charity which works to put the power of digital making into the hands of people all over the world.
Our meetups are fun, friendly and informal gatherings for teachers, community leaders, volunteers and anyone interested in finding out more about what we do.
If you are already running or hosting a club then please come along and say "hello"
This is a chance to meet people involved in other clubs so we can share resources and help each other and to say "thank you" for your on-going support.
You could also give a short presentation (5mins) of your unique experiences running a Code Club, please contact email@example.com directly to arrange.
So, if you would like to get involved in running a Code Club, please feel free to come along. This meeting will be of particular interest for those persons interested in extending the provision of clubs for Libraries and Schools within the Minehead area. Places are limited, and if the demand is high, a further date will be added in due course.
Caroline Vaan-Canning, the South West Regional Coordinator for the area will be on hand to answer any questions you have about starting or running a club.
Hilary Hawkins (Business in the Community - Rural Busness Connector) will also be attending, introducing us to the aims of the charity in promoting the unique role that responsible business has in creating a fairer society and a more sustainable future.
There will be snacks and drinks too!
Look forward to meeting you at Minehead Library...
