Megapicket 3-D accomodation

Following the successful Megapicket on 9 May, which shut down Lifford Lane, and Megapicket II on 25 July, which closed all five sites across Birmingham and Coventry, Strike Map—alongside unions, campaign groups, and community organisations—is now organising Megapicket 3-D, targeting all sites from 6am on 30 January 2026.

Alongside unions, campaign and community groups, Megapicket 3-D will organise across five sites on the same day.

To enable comrades who cannot otherwise stay elsewhere to join us from outside of the immediate Midlands area, we have secured limited accomodation the night before, 29 January. This is on a first come, first serve basis.

Please only book accomodation if you need it, as we hope to maximise numbers joining us.

We have the following options for you to chose from, please read this bit carefully, and only choose the two person room if you have a comrade to share with you as we want to maximise numbers:

• Double room (single occupancy)- one comrade, this is for single travellers.
• Twin room (double occupancy)- two comrades sharing, only chose this if you are sharing with someone.

The hotel, location and details will be sent to you once booked.

To ensure the highest turnout possible, we are asking for a nominal deposit of £10 for double and £20 for twin room. This deposit will be refunded after the event and in the case of a 'no show', this will be donated to the strike fund.

We hope to mobilise people from across the country and most importantly across the West Midlands to join us.
