Meisner drop-in classes are open to all students who have successfully completed Stage 1 or any of our Shakespeare courses
You can use drop-ins for extra practice in aspects of the technique such as repetition and improvisations. We also encourage you to come to drop-ins to work on scene study, monologues, audition prep and other personal projects to continue your growth as actors once you’ve completed all the stages of the training. In addition, actors are encouraged to bring work from any of the Shakespeare courses to the drop-ins.
Drop-in booking policy and Code of Conduct, a quick reminder:
24 hours cancellation policy. Please stick to this to get a refund. Put the cancellation request through Eventbrite
Use the online waiting list (not Facebook). The waiting list is managed through Eventbrite and is first come first served. If you want to change from a duo to a solo slot you can now request this too.
Be punctual, please. Class can only start properly with everyone there. If you're late, we can't guarantee you'll be able to work and we may give your place away.
Non-transferable. Your place is your place so you can't personally pass it on to someone else.
Code of Conduct:
Hurt no one and break nothing. We have a zero tolerance policy for behaviour that places yourself, others or the teaching environment at risk. Any damage caused will be paid for by the student.
Our zero tolerance policy extends to the use of illegal drugs. Also, if you consume alcohol prior to a class you will be excluded.
All students must be at least 18 years old. You may train with us regardless of experience but need to have English to a conversational level.
100% attendance and punctuality is expected. Where you have agreed absence from class with your teacher, make every effort to make up for the lost learning (including attending drop-in classes at an additional cost to you).
We may, on rare occasions, be required to reschedule classes. If this occurs as much notice as possible will be given but students will be required to make every effort to accommodate a new class schedule.
Anyone breaking any of these rules and/or considered detrimental to learning will be removed from a course without refund of any kind.
We may use your personal data to communicate with you about the course(s) you have signed-up to. We will also add your details to our separate marketing database from which you may unsubscribe at any time.
