Are there toilets?

There are no toilets at the car park. There are none along the route, but I will point out discreet spots for 'wild wees'! The Oddfellow's pub will be open when we finish so we can use their facilities.

Question 2

Will I be the only person showing up alone?

Probably not! Most women who attend these walks do so for the first time without knowing anyone. We're a really friendly and welcoming bunch :)

Question 3

Can I bring my dog?

Well-behaved dogs are welcome (barking will be an issue while we're listening to Dr Tim!) but they will need to be on a short lead for the entire walk.

Question 4

What do I need to bring?

Hiking boots or shoes with good grip and ankle support
Snacks/lunch to sustain you for around 5-6 hours
Rucksack
Water (at least 1L)
Waterproofs
Warm layers
Hat and gloves/Sun hat and sun cream
A small first aid kit with any personal medications
Walking poles, sit mat, hot drink (optional extras)

What time do I need to arrive?

We aim to meet at 8.45am to set off at 9am.

Can I get a refund if I can no longer make it?

Accepted Answer

This event is non-refundable. If you can no longer attend you are more than welcome to sell your ticket to someone else but please let me know if you do so. No swaps to other events unless this has been agreed.
