Melp Mindful Miles Run
Overview
The Melp Mindful Miles February Fun Run will take place on Sunday 1st February 2026 at Edenbrook Country Park in Fleet, Hampshire. This community event is being organised by the Melp Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting young people and women in grassroots sport with their mental health and well-being.
The event is designed to help people stay on track with their health and fitness goals throughout January, with the Fun Run acting as a motivating challenge to work towards. Whether you are starting out, keeping active with friends and family, or pushing yourself a little further, the run provides a positive focus to keep you going — no matter where you are on your journey.
Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome, with three distance options available:
- 1K (perfect for children, families, and beginners)
- 5K (a supportive community challenge for all levels)
- 10K (for those looking for a bigger goal to kick off their year)
The day will highlight the importance of mental health, connection, and community, reminding us that movement is not only good for the body but also vital for the mind. By taking part, every runner will be directly supporting the Melp Foundation’s work in schools, colleges, and grassroots sports clubs, where we provide free mental health education, resources, and support services.
This will be the first run organised by the Melp Foundation, and we hope to make it an annual fixture in the community calendar. The event promises a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, scenic routes around Edenbrook Country Park, and the chance to take part in something bigger — running for your own well-being while supporting the well-being of others.
