The Chamber will be running a new series of events for 2017/18 called Member Spotlights which are an opportunity for you, as a member, to demonstrate your business expertise and free to attend.
Our first as a joint event presented by The Cedars Inn, Old English Inns & anew South West.

General Manager, Peter Elder, will give an overview of The Cedars Inn, part of Old English Inns & Greene King Group.
Now that it is under new management, The Cedars are hosting this event to demonstrate how passionate they are to ensure The Cedars remain true to the local area and its economy, by promoting and using local suppliers wherever possible. After the presentations, you are welcome to join Peter on a tour of the venue to view the significant refurbishment work carried out and he and his team will be on hand to discuss how the spaces at their venue can be used by you and your business.
Janet Philips, Director of anew South West, will be delivering her presentation: Customer Service - Be extraordinary not ordinary.

Janet is an experienced and licenced Professional Coach & Trainer, having delivered services to major high street banks, utilities service businesses and others within the tourism, retail, hospitality, manufacturing and engineering sectors. She is licenced to deliver 7 accredited Customer Service courses, from Principles of Customer Service, Customers with Disabilities, Service Across Cultures through to Supervisory and Management courses, along with the Ambassador Workshop which was also used to train personnel for the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games.

This is an excellent opportunity to get your message across and talk to people about your business during the networking. These spaces are limited, on a first come first serve basis and booking is essential. The booking process for member tickets above will encompass confirming your requirement for display space.
The presentations will be followed by a complimentary buffet provided by The Cedars Inn and networking opportunity.
