Incredibly, over 2500 species of moths have been recorded in the UK and, according to our database, 2000 of these have been found in Sussex. Join us at Woods Mill as we open the previous night's moth trap in order to identify just how many of those we’ve caught. This event will help get you up close and personal with these fascinating creatures that inhabit our unfamiliar night time world.
Meeting point: Woods Mill, Henfield (BN5 9SD). Walk over the bridge from the car park and meet under the Oak tree by the picnic benches ahead of you.
Parking: Free parking available. Public toilets are available in the car park.
What to bring: Footwear suitable for damp ground and clothes for all weathers. There will be lots of opportunities to take photos of the moths before they are released, should you wish to bring a camera.
