Whereas most woods show clear signs of past management, the Mens is what a wood is like when recent human influence has been very low.
Join Tony for a gentle walk around an “old growth forest”, a rare maybe overlooked type of English woodland and enjoy a relaxing discussion about woodland ecology and how it works.
The walk will be at a gentle pace, between 1-2 miles in length, with lots of stops along the way.
Refreshments will be provided at the end, weather permitting.
