Join Grazing Manager, Tom Parry, for a walk around the Wiston Estate to look at some of our grazing animals. Find out about environmental stewardship options whilst enjoying the varied habitats of this beautiful estate.
Meeting Point: We will meet at Wiston Barns, Findon Dairy, BN14 0RW.
Directions to Wiston Barns: Findon Dairy, Findon, Worthing, BN14 0RW
Follow A24 Southbound towards Findon/Worthing. There will then be a left turn 2.5 miles after the Washington roundabout. Follow the lane for 0.7 mile, you will come to a set of barns.
Access is only from Southbound on the A24, there is a blue sign with Wiston Vineyard written on it at the end of the lane (pictured below).
If travelling from northbound direction from Findon roundabout, see map below. Run off the A24 at Widdlesham House School, then follow round to go up and over the A24. Then re-join A24 on the southbound side.
What to bring: Sturdy walking shoes, clothes for all weather, binoculars, water, hat and sunscreen. Refreshments will be provided but please bring your own cup.
Parking and facilities: Free parking at Wiston Barn. A toilet is available at the site.
Public transport: This site is not accessible by public transport.
Accessibility: We will be walking at a slow pace, on rough terrain and some hill climbs, with stops along the way. A reasonable amount of fitness is required.
