About this event

Old Lodge lies in the heart of Ashdown Forest. It is an open landscape of heather and grassland, clumps of gorse and is dotted with Birch and Oak trees. There are still areas of Scots Pine where Coal Tit can be heard and Goldcrest whisper their thin, reedy calls. Join us for a guided walk around this delightful reserve with Mark Monk-Terry, Site Manager for our East Sussex nature reserves.

Meeting Point: We will meet in the car park which can be found just north of the Old Lodge private road. If the car park is full, there are other car parks nearby. Car parking charges now apply. For further details, please visit: Parking | The Conservators of Ashdown Forest
