It may be you have been thinking about this for a while but have just not got round to it or don’t know where to start.
This event is designed to provide you with all the information, answers and support you need to start your upgrading or experience assessment journey.
The event will start with a presentation on the upgrading and experience assessment criteria and processes. There will then be an opportunity to dip in and out of small group discussions on the areas that most interest you – giving you the opportunity to ask the questions most relevant to you.
Discussion Groups include:
- Do I meet the criteria and if not what do I need to do?
- Routes to completing the upgrading process and support to do so.
- How to put your CV together for this purpose
- Developing your CPD log - how, what should it contain?
- The Experience Assessment route - is it right for you, what does it involve?
- Benefits and Barriers - explore what's stopping you and get inspiration from others.
What is the timing for this event?
Delegates will need to arrive at 18:00 for registration and refreshments. The event will run from 18:30 to 20:00.

What is the refund policy?
The event is free for CPD members. Non-member places may be cancelled up to 1 week before the event, after that the £12 fee is non-refundable
Professional photography and video production may be taking place at the event, and these images may be used on future promotional materials for CIPD. Please note that by attending the event, you are giving your consent for your image to be used on any CIPD promotional materials.

The CIPD Coventry & Warwickshire branch provides opportunities for its 2100 members to network with local HR and L&D professionals, to continue with their professional development and remain up to date with HR issues. Coventry & Warwickshire branch is part of the CIPD Midlands Area Partnership (MAP) which holds an Annual Midlands Event in October. The 2017 event will take place on Saturday 7 October at Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire.
