Qualifying as a Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers is a demonstration of personal achievement and professional competence. Chartered Members enjoy the full range of membership benefits including the formal recognition of professional status by being entitled to use the designation MIStructE.
MIStructE is recognised by employers as an individual's commitment to professional excellence, and as a qualification it is an international passport to practice. MIStructE automatically qualifies the holder to register as a qualified structural engineer in an increasing number of countries where such registration is a standard requirement.
