A free workshop giving you the chance to harvest your own memories with our current exhibiting artist fellow Justin Wiggan. Wiggan's Life Echo is a ground-breaking experiment in sound and memory, originally developed with John Taylor Hospice for patients receiving end of life care.
The process involves a highly personalised journey through memory to create a ‘phonic memory map’ of key points in a person’s life, and identifies sound triggers that have been found to stimulate communication and consciousness for participants.
This workshop gives you the opportunity to create your own Life Atlas / Life Anchor Map and create some of the sounds that make up who you are.
