Memory Zine Workshop for Families
We are delighted to be joined by Lana Pericic, a PhD Student in Digital Media Design at the Univesity of Plymouth, who will be running this Memory Zine Workshop for Families!
Join Lana for a hands-on creative workshop where we’ll be making zines inspired by family memories. This workshop is designed for families to participate together, but individuals of all ages and backgrounds are also welcome. Using printed digital photographs, collage, and drawing, participants will reflect on their own family stories.
No prior zine-making experience is needed, but you can bring a few digital or printed family photographs from a memorable event. All other materials will be provided. Through cutting, pasting, and storytelling, we’ll explore how our family identities are shaped by the photographs we keep on our digital devices.
This workshop is part of an ongoing PhD research project at University of Plymouth that explores how digital photographs influence family heritage, memory, and identity in everyday life. Your participation will help contribute to a deeper understanding of how personal archives shape who we are and how we pass stories on in the era of digital.
