Event description
An exploration of masculinity drawing from psychotherapy and the mythical story of Jason and the Golden Fleece.

About this event

Speaking as a man…….

Welcome to a series of exciting, interesting and intriguing online lectures offering personal and professional insights into how men perceive experiences of boys and men, and the cultural messages that influence behaviour and difficulties.

Against a background of rising rates of mental health problems for men and an increased awareness of gender politics, these lectures provide more than statistics. Speaking from experience, our lecturers will encourage delegates to think more deeply about how we understand boys and men, the strategies that develop their resilience and the questions we need to ask.

Men, Boys and Authority is an exploration of masculinity drawing from psychotherapy and the mythical story of Jason and the Golden Fleece. This lecture provides a unique perspective on masculinity and gender from an inspiring and entertaining therapist.

There will also be an opportunity to discuss some of Manu's views after his talk. An unmissable event for everyone interested in psychology and mental health, irrespective of gender, race and age.

Don't forget to visit our Eventbrite page to view the rest of the event series!
