The webinars are hosted by the Wills and Trusts service at Mencap. You will also hear from Mencap Trust Company and a qualified legal professional.

The Wills and Trusts service offers free guidance and support to help you plan for the financial future of a person with a learning disability. The support we offer includes Planning for the Future webinars, guides and resources, help from our Wills and Trusts team and answers to frequently asked questions.

The specialist legal professional you will hear from will talk through the importance of Wills and Trusts, and explain how they work, what they are and why you might need one.

Mencap Trust Company are a not-for-profit Trust company, who set up Trusts for people with a learning disability, managing and investing their money in a way that is right for them. They might be an option for you if you choose to set up a Trust.

Our webinars are not recorded – as the law is constantly changing, – however you will receive the presentation slides after filling out a feedback survey after the webinar.

The webinars begin at 10.30am - although we understand it is not always possible to arrive on time, the webinar may not make as much sense if you arrive late and miss the beginning. It is not always possible for the host to admit late attendees from the waiting room.
