Join Northern Ireland Resources Network, Artitude: Climate, Culture, Circularity, and Tools for Solidarity for a special event celebrating Sustainable Fashion Week 2025 at the MAC in Belfast.
Not only will we have a textile repair cafe, but there will also be specialist repair ‘clinics’ where you can get garments fixed and learn basic techniques to prolong the life of much loved clothing. If you haven’t got anything that needs fixed, come along anyway to take in the Threads of Change: The Future of Sustainable Fashion exhibition that will be on display. There will be some examples of stunning mending and making along with a screening of the animation - Story of a Jumper, a beautiful tale of textile repair authored by Marcella Di Palo.
Event takes place 11am-3pm, Sunday 28 September at the MAC, 10 Exchange St, West, Belfast BT1 2NJ. Admission and repair is free of charge.
Book onto one of the mending workshops below to learn from our experts, or simply drop into our textile repair cafe throughout the day
