The session is in two parts, learning a range of basic repair stitches followed by a 30 min lunch and a second session of embroidery stitches to give you ideas to embellish your own garments.

Taught by Melanie Bowles, founder of stitch school, you will presented with a wealth of ideas how to use hand embroidery for creativity and well being. Based in 3Space in the central Brixton, close to the famous market and M&S to pick up lunch!

You will work on a sampler to practise your stitches which you can apply to future projects. Threads, needles and instructions provided.
