About this event

Arts • Fine Art

Menhir considers how Mendip landscapes are shaped by a combination of geological process and human actions. Commissioned by the Mendip Hills National Landscape Team and Seed Sedgemoor, artist Elizabeth Woodger explores the Mendip Hills' unique features by printing photographs onto local rock specimens, before photographing them embedded in the environment.

Drop in and meet the artist (11am - 3pm), with family friendly guided talks at12pm and 2pm (free, but must be booked in advance). Eventbrite limits maximum booking per order to 1. You will need to make multiple bookings for groups of 2 or more people.

Can't make this date? Then why not visit another time? The Menhir Exhibition will run throughout October during museum opening times (free to enter the exhibition space).
