Join us for a day dedicated to meningitis awareness, health and wellbeing. This is for people affected by meningitis, families and all the local community.

What to expect:

  • Connect with others: Meet and share experiences with other families and individuals who understand the impact of meningitis.
  • Health and wellbeing tips: Health and wellbeing stalls and advice, such as Mini First Aid baby first aid demonstration, blood pressure checks and vaccine advice.
  • Engaging activities: Participate in creative arts and crafts, accessible exercise sessions and games designed for all ages.
  • Expert insights: Benefit from short, impactful talks by inspiring guest speakers.
  • Raise awareness: Be part of a collective effort to educate the wider community about meningitis.
  • Free lunch, food and drinks.

This is for people affected by meningitis, families and all the local community. From inspiring talks to fun crafts and accessible exercise, there will be something for everyone. Bring your family and friends along - everyone is welcome.

Is there parking at the venue?

Limited reserved parking is available, with spaces prioritised for disabled visitors and those with mobility challenges. Please include in your booking form or contact us at helpline@meningitis.org if you need to reserve a space.

Where is parking?

Will you cover travel expenses and accomodation?

The event is free to attend for everyone. Please note that we are unable to cover travel or accommodation expenses for attendees, with the exception of those participating in a volunteering capacity (e.g., stall holders, speakers).

What stalls and speakers will be there?

You'll have the chance to engage with friendly, knowledgeable guests offering everything from vital blood pressure checks and essential baby first aid demonstrations to inclusive accessible exercise and enjoyable arts and crafts activities. Our full agenda will be available soon – stay tuned!

The event runs from 11:00am – 3:00pm - drop in any time and stay as long as you like.
