Event description
If you’re struggling with Perimenopause, or in Menopause and feel like your best days are behind you, then you’re in the right place!

About this Event

Calling all you wonderful mid-life women!

The facts

  1. 13m UK women are either peri or post menopausal
  2. 80% experience symptoms
  3. Almost half say they feel depressed
  4. 1/3rd suffer with anxiety
  5. 2/3rds say there is a general lack of support and understanding

Here's the reality...

These stats alone conjure up a glum picture. Added to this, for many women the menopause occurs at a time when they're being pulled in both directions – literally. Aging parents on one hand and supporting children and, maybe, their children on the other. I think the term Sandwich Generation, or Club Sandwich if your kids have had kids, sums it up nicely don’t you? And that’s before we factor the demands of work and/or wider family friends into the mix!

No wonder we struggle and feel foggy as we tussle with reduced energy and poor sleep!

Surviving to Thriving! We also know that going through menopause (for some) can be upward of 10 and sometimes 20 years, and so I’m on a mission to help you help yourself so that you start to believe that menopause matters less about stage and far more about being able to put yourself back in the driving seat.

I see this as a virtuous circle which combines developing a handful of well-being strategies so that you feel on top of your game with a renewed sense of purpose and able to look forward clearly.

Here’s how… We will spend our time working together on key menopause topics including concerns about weight gain, brain-fog/mood swings, loss of libido, reduced energy and disturbed sleep.

Using a number of group coaching techniques, I will facilitate rounds of high quality conversations that will encourage you to think about anything that is an issue for you. The process that unfolds will lead to new thinking accompanied by the desire to get things moving and make new plans. It is quite simply about having the support, time and space to do this.

Please be re-assured that the session will be conducted a private and confidential manner.

Refreshments will be served.

About me

I spent the first 26 years of my working life in corporate, changing career 4 times before retraining as a Henley Masters Coach in 2012. Over the years my work has evolved in three broad areas; business, lifestyle and health and worked with more than 150 clients in both business and private settings.

Unlike many coaches, I don't have a niche and thrive on variety, developing specialisms in things I'm passionate about. I also believe I can serve my clients better this way. This includes, Executive and team coaching, career transition, hoarding/decluttering and weight-loss/weight management. After a lifelong struggle with my own weight I am now an a target Slimming World Consultant and in better health than I was in my 40s.

I care deeply about community and education and have recently completed my Youth MHFA training to support the work I do with adolescents at my sons' school.
