It cover recognising and diagnosing menopause, prescribing HRT/MHT and testosterone, trouble shooting for unscheduled bleeding and PMS/PMDD, GSM and pelvic floor issues, cultural and lifestlye advice as well as mental health, and managing complex cases like endometriosis, fibroids and cancer.
This will be the 5th time we have run the course and so far more than 1000 HCPs have done it and the feedback has consistently been that the content is excellent, well presented and accessible and interesting.
Worth 8 CPD points, the course is updated each time for new guidelines or medications, and if evidence-based. The presenters are all British Menopause Society accredited specialists or trainers for the society. It is overseen by UCL reproductive health specialist, Vikram Talaulikar.
