The menopause is often characterised as a grim process that all women have to endure. Many women, not surprisingly, feel concerned about it, or even dread it. Employers may feel a bit lost about how to provide reasonable adjustments. Partners and family can feel left out of the loop on what exactly is going on.

Alison Theaker and Anne Hope are an experienced coach and therapist who feel that the menopause is an important and even joyful journey that prepares women for the next phase of their lives.

Information is power and by spreading the word about the process of menopause and addressing the main myths they empower women to make the right decision for themselves so they do not have to suffer at this time. They also enable men to understand the process and employers to think about how they can take care of their staff.
