Description

Try the Men's Health Forum's new training free and help make it even better.

The Men's Health Forum has developed new training for people in the voluntary and public sectors interested in improving men's health in their area.

Objectives for the session:

  • to outline the activities to date that have contributed to the development of the MHF training offer
  • to identify specific opportunities with the strategic partners for testing/ delivering the training packages
  • to test elements of the "How to " training packages and inform changes
  • to provide a platform for partners to inform current and future developments of the MHF training

The session will be run by Graham Rushbrook who worked for Department of Health leading on the national health trainer programme. He is an advisor to RSPH and NICE, training with a particular focus on behaviour change.

Arrive from 10am for a 10.30 start.

This project is part of the Men's Health Forum's work as a strategic partner of the Department of Health, NHS England and Public Health England.

The Men's Health Forum is a charity that works to improve men's health services and the health of men.

Our goal is the best possible physical and mental health and wellbeing for all men and boys. There is one premature male death every five minutes and far too many men and boys suffer from health problems that could be prevented.
