Following a successful debut at The Witham in February we’re proud to be taking the Men’s Voices: Stepping Out of The Box exhibition to venues that showcase the North East’s famous industrial heritage Spring /Summer 19.

Killhope Lead Mining Museum. Saturday 1st June 2019 a day of cultural events - drop in to explore a bygone era:

  • 10.30-11.30 ‘Meet the Makers’ of the exhibition, alongside the team at Killhope.

  • 11.30-13.00 Panel Talk - What should we do with our industrial heritage? Expert speakers include: Lucie Brownlee, Michael Chaplin, Angela Thomas and Tony Bird

  • 14.00-15.00 - Creative Writing Workshop – Led by writer David Napthine, this workshop is inspired by panel discussions and will allow you to create your own take-home creative writing.

This ticket will gain you entry to Killhope Lead Mining Museum, Meet the Makers, 'What Should We Do With Our Industrial Heritage?' Panel Talk and our Creative Writing Workshop. Please note you do not have to attend all 3 events and can drop in for one, two or all three.
