Menstrual Cycle Awareness – Staff Wellbeing
Audience: RSE leads / Period Proud Leads / Pastoral Staff / School Staff/Community Staff
Flintshire Healthy Schools is pleased to offer this menstrual cycle online session to support the education of menstrual health in settings and equip staff with knowledge to have menstrual health conversations with colleagues.
Length of Workshop: 90 minutes
This workshop covers:
• Menstruation overview
• Pre-ovulation exploration
• Ovulation impact
• Premenstrual feelings
We also address common period questions, menstrual health conditions, and ways to improve menstrual experiences.
The session aims to help colleagues understand the menstrual cycle's effects on individuals, especially adults, by discussing its impact on energy levels, confidence, and mood.
Attendees will gain knowledge to better support yourself/colleagues experiencing hormonal and emotional changes over a 24-32 day cycle. The goal is for staff to confidently discuss and address menstrual cycle-related issues with colleagues. Staff experiencing periods can take aways actions to support their cycle and worklife balance.
Date: Tuesday 7th October 2025
TIME: Access from 3.15pm for 3.30pm start - 4.30pm
LOCATION: Online - Link to be sent out on day of training
LANGUAGE: The session will be delivered through the medium of English. All materials will be bilingual.
