Do I need to have read the book?

No! It's only just been launched. This event will provide a short introduction to what's in the book- and why you may find it interesting/ useful. This is more of a celebration of this much needed work finally getting out into the world!

Do I have to order/ buy the book?

No! We just want to share this exciting news with as many people as possible. If we are ever going to persuade schools/ governments/ medical institutions to provide evidence-based information about menstrual health, we need as many people as possible to be talking about this issue.

Do I need to be a student/ menstrual health nerd to participate?

No! While the book is aimed mainly at academic and clinical audiences, it has plenty to offer anyone interested in learning more about their bodies, especially activists interested in improving menstrual literacy, globally.

I'm not female, am I allowed to participate?

Yes, please do! All of us need to know more about reproductive health. We need to overcome thousands of years of societal taboos, which have prevented us from talking (and learning) about this super interesting aspect of our lives.
