Menstruation, Menopause and More...

Join us for our friendly monthly get-together at The Hub, Cambridge on the Biomedical Campus — a new community space with a fantastic café and bar. Enjoy some free sweet treats, good company, and supportive conversation in beautiful, welcoming surroundings.

You don’t have to work on campus to come along — everyone’s welcome! These sessions are a safe, open space to share, learn, and connect, whether you’re experiencing menstrual or menopausal health issues yourself or supporting someone who is. We know that dealing with rare conditions or complex health issues can sometimes feel isolating, but you’re not alone.

Did you know that menopausal women are the fastest-growing group in the workplace? Around 8 in 10 are in work, and while some experience few symptoms, 3 in 4 have noticeable ones — with 1 in 4 facing serious challenges. Yet, about half have never spoken to a healthcare professional, and many feel uncomfortable discussing menopause-related issues at work.

That’s why we’ve created the Menstruation, Menopause and More Group, a relaxed, confidential space where you can listen, share experiences, and support each other. Whether you have menstrual issues, are going through menopause, supporting a friend or family member, or simply want to understand how to be more supportive at work, this is for you. There’s no set agenda, no pressure, and no sales pitch — just open, honest conversation.

Let’s get the conversation going.

We encourage to come to campus sustainably: there are direct routes in from both Trumpington Park and Ride and Babraham Road Park and Ride, where parking is free - there are also good bus services from all over Cambridge to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Bike parking is available at the Hub. There is car parking on site, but it is very expensive.
