The Adult Carer’s Development Programme 2019 is fully funded by Skills for Care and delivered by Cambridgeshire County Council, LGSS Learning and Development and Peterborough City Council. The programme is designed for formal and informal carers of adults, who live and work in Cambridgeshire. This includes Personal Assistants, family/unpaid carers and workers/volunteers in the Private Voluntary and Independent (PVI) sector.

There are 2 elements of the programme and carers are invited to attend whichever events or training workshops are relevant to you:

1. Carer’s Events – comprising of a selection of 1 hour bitesize information and learning sessions and various information stands including Age UK, The Carer’s Trust, Technology Enabled Care and others

2.Training Workshops – delivered at different Cambridgeshire venues, 2.5 – 3 hours in duration focused on relevant topics for carers. Click below to choose your topics from the selection provided

(Light Refreshments will also be available at the events and training workshops)

So why not come along to a Carer’s Event and speak to one of our experts, and even gain some new skills and knowledge through attending any of the bitesize sessions - all at no cost to you?
