As we tentatively emerge out of the pandemic, taking ownership of your wellbeing is more important than ever. You need to understand what you can do to look after your mental health and apply this to yourself and your business.
Poor mental health is linked to poor performance, reduced productivity, presenteeism and absenteeism. As a business owner, it is vital you give yourself permission to rest when you need to rest and ask for help if that need arises. This also applies to your employees and anyone else that you depend on or who depends upon you.
The aim of this session is to:
- Provide you with an understanding of your legal obligations as a business owner relating to your own and your employee’s mental health.
- Discuss signs and symptoms of some common mental health conditions and where and when to signpost for professional help.
- Explain your relationship with stress and provide you with practical tools to take back control. Talk about the importance of boundaries, whether you work from home or on-site.
