Event description
Mental Health and Wellbeing event for parents with a child on the diagnostic pathway living in Neath Port Talbot County Borough.

About this Event

Are you are a parent or carer of a child with a disability or on the diagnostic pathway living within Neath Port Talbot County Borough?

Would you like support around your child's Mental Health and Wellbeing?

Disability can have a huge affect on a child's mental health, many children with disabilities can have more stress than their peers of the same age. Feelings of unmanageable and overwhelming anxiety are becoming much more common in children and young people.

Triggers can include educational stress, sensory overstimulation and feelings of social isolation through lack of friendships or expression. All of which can have a impact on their emotional wellbeing.

Building Blocks in Resolven are seeking the views of families who have a child with a disability or on the diagnostic pathway and would like to invite you to our coffee and cake morning where we can talk you about the support you receive or would like to receive for your child or young person.

If you are unable to attend the event but would like to give your views, can you contact Cherelle or Joanne at Resolven Building Blocks on (01639) 710076
