Course: MHFA Mental Health Aware

Join our half-day online Mental Health Aware course, developed by MHFA England, and take the first step towards understanding mental health.
This engaging and interactive session is ideal for anyone looking to increase their mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and learn how to support their own and others' wellbeing. You’ll learn:
- What mental health is and how to challenge stigma
- A basic understanding of mental health and mental illness
- Increased confidence to support someone in distress
- Tools to start conversations around mental health
- An introduction to looking after your own wellbeing
On completion of the course, you'll receive a certificate of attendance from MHFA England.
Learning:
Learning takes place online. Training is delivered through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. We limit numbers to 25 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn.

- Friday 17th October 2025 - 10am - 12pm
- Wednesday 29th October 2025 - 10am - 12pm
Once you register:
You will receive a comprehensive welcome email giving you all of the details you will need to successfully complete the course from start to completion.
Entry Requirements:
All participants must be aged over 18 years.
Cost: £130.00 per person for an open public course.
