This workshop is designed by Sarah McCaffrey, founder of Solas Mind, who combined her knowledge of the film and media industry with her experience as a qualified psychotherapist (MBACP) to offer bespoke mental health support, training and counselling in the creative sector. This 60 minute session will help individuals understand more about where mental ill health comes from, how unhelpful thinking patterns can impact our resilience and will provide some self-care strategies.

The workshop goals will be:

· Understanding where mental ill health comes from

· Greater awareness of the cognitive distortions

· An understanding of what resilience is and what this means to us personally

· Understanding how by challenging our thinking, we can enhance our resilience

· Some practical self-care tips and suggestions to take forward into your careers

Please ensure you have your camera and audio on for the session as it is interactive.
