About this event
Our Mental Health Awareness course aims to raise awareness of mental health, and how to understand and recognise the causes, symptoms, and support options for a range of common and less-common mental health problems.
The course is suitable for anyone with an interest in mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, and no prior knowledge or experience is required.
What's covered?
The course aims to:
- Raise awareness of mental health and how it can vary
- Outline different mental health problems
- Share practical tips for supporting people
- Explore how mental health and wellbeing interact with our daily lives
- Highlight stigma and discrimination, and how to tackle them
- Share tips on how to have supportive conversations about mental health
- Provide sources of support and information

Format: Virtual training led by a Mind Trainer using Zoom.
We welcome small groups of people from the same organisation to join our courses at a maximum of three per course. Larger groups may be interested in our training for organisations.
If there are no spaces remaining for this event, you can add yourself to the waitlist to be notified by email if one becomes available. Tickets offered through the waitlist operate on a first-come-first-served basis and we do not carry over waitlists to new events.

Young people under the age of 18 are welcome to book this course but must be accompanied by a responsible adult/parent. The accompanying adult/parent will not be charged to attend.
