About this event
Sarah Ashworth will be delivering this one hour session on behalf of Charlie Waller Trust on mental health and the impact of trauma. This session is suitable for staff and Governors who would like to support children and colleagues with good mental health in 2022. This session will explore:
Mental Health and wellbeing in children and young people, and those that care for them, post-pandemic
How have the consequences of the pandemic affected mental health and wellbeing?
The impact of trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)

What can we do?
Sarah is a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with additional post graduate qualifications in Coaching and Nutritional Therapy and has been a qualified Adult Mental Health First Aid Instructor since 2012. For 12 years, she was Mental Health Co-ordinator and Head of Mental Health at the University of Warwick, where she developed and delivered mental health awareness training for staff and students and led an experienced team of mental health professionals who supported students experiencing many different mental health issues.
