A staggering 70 million work days are lost each year due to mental health problems in the UK, costing employers approximately £2.4 billion per year. According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) the average length of an absence is 21.6 days when the cause is stress, depression or anxiety.

This AQA accredited Level 2 course is for organisations that wish to have mental health champions in the workplace.

The course has two main objectives:

To develop the champions knowledge of mental health and how to support those who come to them for support.

To establish the champions as a team within the organisation that will really make the difference in this key area and bring benefits to individuals, teams and the organisation.
