Event description

Description

On Thursday 30th November 2017, Bristol Independent Mental Health Network (BIMHN) and the Community Access Support Service (CASS) invite you to join us for discussions on what can be done to resolve some of the issues that are related to mental health, housing and homelessness across the city.

This includes people affected by delayed transfers of care and what can be done to support them; how we can better maintain tenancies for people affected by mental health issues across all housing sectors; what opportunities there could be to improve knowledge and support for those working with people with lived experience in the housing sector; alongside other topics that would be relevant to the discussions.

If you have a particular topic you feel should be discussed at the event then please do suggest it by emailing contactbimhn@gmail.com

Attendees will include those with lived experience of housing and mental health. Their knowledge will be drawn upon by city leaders, commissioners, equalities groups, faith based groups and voluntary and community sector partners, in developing alternative policies and solutions to issues raised.

We look forward to seeing you there and if you have any queries about the event please email contactbimhn@gmail.com.
