We’re delighted to finally be able to offer an affordable Mental Health First Aid course!

The trainer is Lesley McGhie, who you may already know through our popular Emergency First Aid at Work courses. Through a mix of group activities and discussions, the course is built around a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) action plan.

Everyone who completes the course gets a certificate acknowledging they are an MHFA Champion, a MHFA manual to keep and refer to whenever they need it, and a copy of the Line Managers' Resource, an invaluable source of advice on how to support an employee experiencing mental ill health.

What you’ll learn

  • An understanding of common mental health issues
  • Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness
  • Ability to spot signs of mental ill health
  • Skills to support positive wellbeing
