This ONLINE 4 hour course raises awareness about mental health, helping you challenge stigmas, look after yourself, and support others.

About this Event

Do you have questions like…

  • What exactly is mental health?
  • What are it's stigmas and how would I challenge them?
  • What are the most common mental health issues?
  • How do I look after my own mental health?
  • How do I support someone in distress?

This introductory four hour session raises awareness of mental health. It answers all these questions.

What's the course like?

Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions, and workshop activities

Online course in conducted over Zoom (video conferencing software) by Peter.

Due to some of the sensitive subjects of our courses, we limit numbers to 25 people. We want everyone to feel safe and our instructors can help if people find some bits particularly difficult.

At the end of the course

You'll get…

  • A certificate of attendance to say you are Mental Health Aware
  • A manual to refer to whenever you need it
  • A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health (sent to you in the post)
