About Mental Health First Aid Refresher Training

Designed for trained Mental Health First Aiders® who completed their training prior to 2022, this four-hour Refresher equips you with the latest knowledge and tools to continue providing high-quality support. You'll reinforce core concepts, refine key skills, and practise the MHFA action plan—ensuring you're fully prepared to respond with confidence in any setting.
On completion, you'll renew your three-year certification and retain your membership with the Association of Mental Health First Aiders®. This includes ongoing access to professional development resources, the MHFAider Support App® (with 24/7 text support), and a national network of trained peers.
*Please note that the MHFA Refresher is only for people who have completed an MHFA course or an Armed Forces Mental Health First Aider course.
