Description

We are delighted to be able to offer a one day Mental Health First Aid for Youth Workshop. The workshop is 9am to 5pm and you must be able to attend the full session (Lunch will be provided).

MHFA will cover key topics around young people’s mental health and well-being, with a strong practical focus on how support young people experiencing mental distress. The session is relevant for parents and is particularly relevant for those working in schools or with young people.

  • The outcomes of the one day workshop will be:

  • To preserve life where a young person may be a danger to themselves or others.

  • To provide help to prevent the mental health problem developing into a more serious state.

  • To promote the recovery of good mental health.

  • To provide comfort to a young person experiencing a mental health problem.

  • To raise awareness of mental health issues in the community.

  • To reduce stigma and discrimination.

Ticket prices include the cost of the MHFA Manual.
