The course will take place via Zoom and is delivered over 4 sessions on the following dates:

Thursday 25 September 9.30 am - 12.30 pm
The Zoom sessions take place on the dates and times stated above. You need to attend all 4 sessions to complete the course. The link will be sent to you, together with the supporting training materials, prior to the first session.

Learning Outcomes:
As an MHFAider® you will be able to:
–Recognise those that may be experiencing poor mental health and provide them with first-level support and early intervention
–Encourage a person to identify and access sources of professional help and other supports
–Practise active listening and empathy
–Have a conversation with improved mental health literacy around language and stigma
–Discuss the role in depth, including boundaries and confidentiality
–Practise self-care
