Mental health problems can develop inside and outside of the workplace. There are several internal factors which can have a negative impact on mental health and make it harder for people to cope.
This one day course expands on the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported within a workplace, covering a range of First Aid for Mental Health related subjects including:

St Andrew’s First Aid is Scotland’s dedicated first aid charity and leading first aid training provider. We believe no one should suffer or die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it.Our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of first aid skills through first aid event cover, first aid training courses and first aid education within schools and communities across Scotland.
Our First Aid for Mental Health is a regulated course under First Aid Awards, and provides participants with an SCQF level 5 certificate valid for 3 years. The training is a full 1 day course provided in person.
