Training for youth and children’s workers in providing Mental Health First Aid for 8-18 year olds.

About this event

Youth Mental Health First Aid – One Day

Become a Youth Mental Health First Aid champion! This one-day course gives you an understanding of common mental health issues and how they can affect young people. You will gain Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness and skills to support positive wellbeing. This course covers common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicide, psychosis and eating disorders.

Susie Mapledoram from Manchester Diocese is leading the course at Foxhill House and Woodlands for us. The Diocese of Chester deeply values the mental health of children and young people and is delighted to offer this course for free for youth and children’s leaders in the Diocese (employees or volunteers) to take part in this training. There are 16 places available on the course.

To take part you must book by Friday 17th September.
