Event Details

The Mental Health First Aid training course is nationally accredited and teaches people how to recognise and support a person who could be experiencing a mental health problem.

This course provides valuable insight into mental health conditions and is useful for support staff, community groups, employers, employees, family members, emergency services and anyone who has an interest in mental health.

In the same way as we learn physical first aid, mental health first aid teaches you how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health.

This 2 day Mental Health First Aid course will help you to:

Increase your understanding of mental health.

Increase your personal resilience.

Preserve life where a person may be a danger to themselves or others.

Provide help to prevent the mental health problem developing into a more serious state.

Reduce stigma and discrimination.

The course will start promptly at 9am and finish at 4.30pm on both days.

Cost: £75 Per Person.

Tea/coffee will be provided for scheduled breaks. A cafe is available on site.

You do not need to be ex-forces to book a place on an MHFA course.
