Course summary

This is a practical skills and awareness course designed to give you knowledge, skills and confidence. We use a range of activities and discussions to give delegates a deeper understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect people’s wellbeing, including their own. They will develop practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues. Throughout the two days, delegates will gain the confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress and the knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to appropriate support.
