Event description
Gain practical knowledge to recognise poor mental health and some common conditions so that you can further help in your community.

About this Event

The effects of COVID-19 in North Wales are not limited to job loss and food & housing insecurity. The pandemic is also taking a toll on mental health in our communities, adding to community group responsibilities. What can we do in our community about mental health in the age of COVID-19?

This training session will equip you with practical knowledge to recognise poor mental health and some common conditions so that you can further help in your community.

Join in the conversation to find out:

  • How to start conversations about Mental Health.
  • Supporting someone with a Mental Health Issue.
  • Signposting and additional resources in our area.
  • Keeping yourself and others safe - including talking about suicide.

We suggest making a donation of at least £10 to cover TCC's costs if you are able to.

Attendees will receive an electronic CPD certificate upon completion of the training.
