About this event

What does the training involve?

The training is in two parts:

Part 1 is an online two-day course on Thursday, 16th October and Friday, 17th October 2025.

Part 2 consists of 6 months of support for you in your role as Senior Mental Health Lead as you build a whole-school culture of wellbeing and mental health, working with staff, pupils and the wider school community.

Included with the course is the Mental Health Lead Toolkit in our Padlet in the cloud. The Mental Health Lead Toolkit is a wellbeing and mental health service for staff in schools. One of the tools is our unique Teach Well Toolkit Programme which takes you step-by-step through a process of whole-school change.

You can also belong to a network of School Mental Health Leads via a private WhatsApp group, enabling you to share ideas and strategies with members of your course.
