Mental Health – Let’s move the conversation on….

This seminar will be delivered by Clarke and Carrie Carlisle

Preston-born, ex professional footballer Clarke Carlisle has recurrent depressive disorder and has had multiple suicide attempts. In this session Clarke and his wife Carrie will share their story of recovery and in doing so will call for a mental health revolution in the hope of making a difference to others. By sharing their deeply moving and personal journey they will encourage us to move the mental health conversation forward to incorporate competence and confidence in ourselves and the services around us. The session will be supported by UCLan Student Services and Local Mental Health Agencies.

This is a free event, suitable for students, academics, representatives of local authorities, health and sport organisations and the wider public.
