About this event

Join us on Zoom from 10am - 12pm to learn ways of finding support services for mental health problems and begin the healing journey.

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.

Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

Mental Health Facts:

  • One adult in eight (12.1%) receives mental health treatment.
  • It is estimated that 75% of people with mental health problems in England may not get access to the treatment they need.
  • Women are more likely than men to receive treatment for all mental health conditions, with 15% of women receiving treatment compared to 9% of men.
  • Young people aged 16-24 were found to be less likely to receive mental health treatment than any other age group.
